Come out with Austin Youth River Watch to build a rain Garden at Navarro High School!

Join Austin Youth River Watch and the Navarro High School Green Teens, along with community partners from HDR, the Environmental & Water Resource Institute, and City of Austin Watershed Protection, in building a rain garden on the campus of Navarro High School (formerly Lanier High School).

Please bring your own shovel ifyou have one, and your own gloves if you prefer. Tools and gloves will be available for those who do not have their own.

Please bring a water bottle, and wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you

don’t mind getting dirty.

We’ll meet at project site behind the main school building, and we recommend that you carpool, bike, or use public transportation if possible.

Perks: Breakfast kolaches, water, and snacks will be provided.

Parking Details: Behind school along Fairfield Drive to access project site. Do not park in the front of the school where you will be unable to get tothe project site.
