13 River Watchers attended Hot Science Cool Talks, presented by The Environmental Science Institute. Dr. David Hillis presented on ‘How a Salamander Save a City: The Politics and Science of Endangered Species.’ Dr. Hillis talked about the salamander was identified as an endangered species and its impact in Austin’s economic development.
