By December 6, 2014No Comments

December 5-6, 2014:     11 River Watchers had a young men’s sleepover at the EcoHouse. They conversed with Barred Owls along the river trail on a two mile night hike, played games, and ate dinner. Saturday morning the River Watchers participated in a Service Learning Project at Circle Acres Preserve with other volunteers. They planted native Eastern Gamagrass along a riparian area and then collected and distributed the seeds of native grasses and other plants like Inland Sea Oats, Wildrye, and Turks Cap.
