February 15-16, 2014: Six River Watchers from four AISD schools camped at Bastrop State Park. River Watchers helped make a fajita dinner, built a fire, enjoyed s’mores, they went birding with a River Watch volunteer, and on a night hike. Sunday morning River Watchers were led on a interactive Fire Ecology hike trough the fire-ravaged forest in the park.
