Testing pH Levels of Common Household Products

February 26, 2015:     Seven River Watchers avoided the cold temps and stayed indoors at the EcoHouse, eating snacks and testing common household products for pH levels. They made a scale for pH value indicators to show the levels of acidic, neutral, and basic. They tested products, such as, milk, juice, water, cleaning solutions, vinegar, and shampoo and then talked about how pH levels determine how compounds react with other substances.
