July 22-23, 2014: Nine River Watchers participated in a Riparian Function Workshop as part of the Service Learning Program by learning about what a functioning Riparian Zone looks like and its benefits, ecologically and hydrologically at the first site, Boggy Creek Greenbelt. River Watchers then visited Barton Creek at Lost Creek Blvd to eat lunch, explore the area, review concepts, make observations, and compare the two sites.
