By June 18, 2013No Comments

June 18, 2013:     Five River Watchers enjoyed their time at Barton Creek Habitat Preserve as Brandon Crawford, the Preserve Manager, shared stories about his career and life pathways.  He also discussed the work of the Texas Nature Conservancy; specifically the habitat requirements and management techniques for the Black-capped Vireo and the Golden-cheeked Warbler, which are both endangered bird species.  River Watchers had lunch and finished their day with a hike through the endangered bird habitats.
