By July 8, 2013No Comments

July 8, 2013:     10 River Watchers enjoyed their time at Barton Creek Habitat Preserve as Brandon Crawford, the Preserve Manager, shared stories about his career and life pathways.  He also discussed the work of the Texas Nature Conservancy; specifically the habitat requirements and management techniques for the Black-capped Vireo and the Golden-cheeked Warbler, which are both endangered bird species.  River Watchers tested water, collected benthic macroinvertebrates, and then went for a swim at Barton Creek.
