By July 8, 2014 No Comments

July 8, 2014:     Eight River Watchers visited Crestmont Park and the Central Market Water Quality Pond to learn more about the benefits of riparian revegetation.  They discussed the importance of filtering pollutants from urban storm runoff and the potential impact of water pollution for streams and rivers in urban areas.  River Watchers performed water quality tests and met guests from Next Steps.  Then they headed to the EcoHouse, where they had lunch and played games.
