Birding at Hornsby Bend

By September 8, 2014No Comments

September 8, 2014:     10 River Watchers went on a bird watching tour at Hornsby Bend. Over 370 species of birds can be found on the 1,200 acres during the year. The diverse habitat combined with the biosolids treatment processes support an abundance of wildlife, making Hornsby Bend the most popular site for bird watching in Austin. River Watchers returned to the EcoHouse for snacks, games, and to set their goals for the semester.
