Austin Youth River Watch

Austin Youth River Watch Environmental Fellow
Seasonal, Part-Time
Meetings will be held virtually via "Zoom"
Fellowship Stipend
Each student is eligible to make $250 for completion of the program

AYRW's Paid Virtual Summer Fellowship features an in-depth exploration of riparian ecology, remote project-based learning, and career readiness skills.
Summer Fellows are responsible for committing up to 4 hours per week to group zoom sessions, research, interviews and online presentations throughout the month of July.

  • Part 3: Short Essays

    This section asks for short essay responses on key topics about your interest and experience relative to the Summer Fellowship program. Please answer the following questions honestly and thoughtfully. Show your best critical thinking skills, self reflection and writing style. Please include correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. Your response should be 250-500 words per question (4-6 sentences).

    Following your application submission, we will be conducting 15-20 minute phone interviews. Please indicate your weekday availability for a scheduled phone interview.
