Despite not catching anything, the memories we made throughout our trip are priceless. S’mores under the stars and good company made it all worth it! 💖🌌

- Removed approximately 2,500 lbs of trash
- Pulled 100 ligustrum saplings
- Spread native grass seeds
- Tested water quality
-& Conducted a litter audit to see what products and brands are commonly ending up in our creeks!

Austin Youth River Watch is thrilled to launch our

Austin Youth River Watch is thrilled to launch our 2024 Spring Break Eco-Adventure fundraiser campaign! This 5-day trip offers a new and exciting opportunity for our high school students, the River Watchers, to participate in our biggest and most anticipated adventure of the year!

For many of our students, this will be their first time taking part on a road trip out-of-state giving them the opportunity to experience firsthand a different ecosystem, scenery, and ecology. But most importantly, it will help them create positive experiences in nature, build community, and learn about important cultural and historical moments, all while having fun! Help us create an unforgettable experience and inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.

We had the incredible Erin Cord,a fantastic friend and colleague from @batconservationinternational, join forces with the River Watchers last week. Their mission? To revitalize and spruce up the bat garden at our ecohouse! 🦇

Absolutely nailed it—total success! Together, we delved into planting fall vegetables and enriching our surroundings with Texas native plants, including the vibrant Fall Aster! 🍂💜

River Watchers were all fired up to make s’mores last weekend. We had our first overnight at our Ecohouse and it was a success!! S’mores were eaten, campfire songs were sang, and memories were made! ⛺️
