Eight Travis High School students and one volunteer harvested 77 eastern gamagrass plugs near the AYRW EcoHouse on Platt Lane. The plugs are to be planted at a volunteer event at Circle Acres Nature Preserve. The students also trimmed existing grass bunches to facilitate new growth in the spring.
