Six River Watchers met at ACC-Highland campus for another Ambassador Meeting. As Ambassadors, River Watchers represent their peers and lead the Readiness Committee. Their goals include creating a more robust peer mentoring experience, serving as media contacts, implementing service projects, organizing a fundraiser, and designing tools to assist all River Watchers in making the transition from high school graduation to the next phase of their lives. In this specific meeting, Ambassadors discussed how they can help in the promotion of Austin Youth River Watch, setting up work-shops throughout the year to help River Watchers with life skills such as resume building and financial literacy, special projects, and planning an end of the year celebration.
