11 young women of River Watch had a overnight campout at Shield Ranch Preserve. Shield Ranch is comprised of approximately 6,800 acres and 95% of the ranch is under conservation easements with The Nature Conservancy and the City of Austin. River Watchers monitored water quality along Rocky Creek, which is a major tributary of Barton Creek. After their work was done, they enjoyed a swim, set up camp, cooked over an open fire, and spent the night in the great outdoors.
