Join our River Watchers at Turkey Creek Trail at Emma Long Park on Saturday, September 27th from 10am to 12pm. River Watchers and a Wildlands Conservation Biologist will lead informational hikes showcasing restoration work completed by River Watchers along Turkey Creek Trail. Austin Youth River Watch has partnered with the City of Austin Wildlands Conservation Division to improve natural areas along the trail and stream bank to benefit all visitors to the area. River Watch students will begin their restoration work at Turkey Creek Trail next week, as part of the Service Learning Program, that launches this fall. Austin Parks Foundation will host a volunteer sign-up for the event, but an RSVP is not required. Come out to get some fresh air, learn about River Watchers’ good work, and more ways to conserve our natural areas!
