Summary
Our AEL program provides career readiness-skills to young adults aged 18+ in central Texas through intensive mentorship, on-the-job training, and environmental restoration. Over the course of a semester, interns commit to 16 hours of service per month and receive an hourly stipend for their efforts.

Responsibilities
- Attend weekly meetings consistently either virtually or in-person throughout the semester
- Complete 4 hours/week of supervised shifts including water quality testing, maintaining native plant nursery, career readiness and independent assignments
- Research, design and present a project on topic of your choice
Qualifications
- Must be between 18-24 years old (current college enrollment not required)
- Interest in environmental work
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Eager to learn new skills and gain professional experience
- Hard-working and self motivated
- Reliable transportation preferred but not required
