January 2o, 2013: Seven River Watchers gathered at the EcoHouse at Hornsby Bend to tie-dye their River Watch t-shirts, play games, eat pizza and venture out for a night hike on which they enjoyed hearing from and seeing silhouettes of multiple barred owls, the occasional hoot of a great horned owl and the howls of coyotes. We looked at the constellations, planets and stars as we walked back to the EcoHouse.
