June 26, 2014: Seven River Watchers from the Wednesday crew of the Summer Leadership Program, went WILD CAVING at Whirlpool Cave Preserve. Heather Tucek, Cave Digger with Austin Watershed, and Park Rangers David and Bryan were our fearless leaders through the cave. As we crawled through the cave like water flows, we learned about karst formations, cave pollution, safety, permeability, endangered species, and recharge zones.
