January 15, 2014: 15 Akins and Reagan High River Watchers watched the premiere screening of “Watershed” at the Paramount Theatre. Watershed is an excellent movie presenting the current, precarious state of water in the West. A significant question was posed by the film – How can we meet the needs of a growing population in the face of rising temperatures and lower rainfall in an already arid land? We all walked away with a deeper connection to the importance of conserving water and the parallels with our state’s water issues.
