March 4, 2015: Six River Watchers spent the afternoon birding at Hornsby Bend from the warmth of the van. Did you know that Hornsby Bend is one of the best birding sites in Texas? Spring migration has started and there are over 1200 acres on this property to explore. After spotting several landbirds and shorebirds, they headed inside for snacks and games.
