January 26, 2015: 10 River Watchers hiked near the EcoHouse on Hornsby Bend. Recent rain has made the areas around the testing sites muddy and a little unstable but we should be able to resume testing tomorrow. Three River Watchers began studying for their Mentor test. After one year of participation in the program, River Watchers can opt to take the Mentor test. After passing the test, they participate in the program as a Mentor, teaching their peers the water quality monitoring tests and setting a great example as a young leader.
