June 24, 2014: Five River Watchers tested water quality at Little Walnut Creek and Buttermilk Creek. At Buttermilk Creek, they were able to meet guests attending the Next Steps event and members from Impact Austin. We posed for a photo (below) to commemorate the $100,000 grant awarded to us by Impact Austin! River Watchers talked to the ladies from Impact Austin about riparian health as part of our stream improvement project and the installation of seed islands.
