July 5, 2013: Media Team River Trip – Five River Watchers observed that both of the large mats of vegetation we had observed on our last river trip were much diminished and the overall water quality was better. In doing the portage around Austin Energy’s low water crossing dam, River Watchers pulled together as a team to get the boats around the dam and all the people in our crew safely back in them going down stream. It was really tough but we helped each other!
