January 23, 2015: Six River Watchers visited Buttermilk Creek at Bethune Avenue in the St. John neighborhood to assess the current Service Learning project. 80 native grass plugs were recently planted along the riparian corridor. River Watchers will continue to monitor this site looking for changes in the ecosystem diversity, habitat functionality, and overall stream quality.
