October 27,2011 Seven students and a St. Edwards University volunteer tested the water quality of Dry Creek at Bright Leaf Preserve. The summer’s record heat and drought conditions created conditions suitable to the creek’s namesake. But a recent rain had replenished the steam, providing an opportunity to test water. All testing parameters were within normal range. Bright Leaf Preserve is located in West Austin and have volunteer opportunities.
