October 1 – 3, 2015 | Service Learning Project | Lavendale Trail at Slaughter Creek
On October 1st, seven River Watchers from Crockett High School, planted native grass plugs and contructed dams in the streambed.
On October 3rd, three River Watchers from Crockett High School, participated in a community volunteer event at Lavendale Trail. In addition to planting more native grass plugs and dispersing native seed, they also picked up trash in the area.
