This past weekend, we had our first boys overnight of the season!! We started off the evening with setting up tents, going on a night hike, and cooking dinner. Some of the boys learned how to build a campfire and we had a lot of new s’more eaters! We ended the night telling stories and playing the guitar around the campfire. Bright and early the next day, students headed out to Manor, TX to do a restoration project! We planted Inland Sea Oats along the riparian zone of a highly eroded bank to help stabilize the soil. Lastly, we threw seedballs in another area to add more growth as well.
