Three River Watchers participated in the TAME Capital Area STEM Competition at The University of Texas at Austin. The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) is a statewide non-profit organization that enables Texas students to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Students competed in individual math and science tests and were grouped into teams to participate in an Engineering Design Challenge. One of our River Watchers brought home a 1st place ribbon for the team Engineering Design Challenge!
