March 2 – 7, 2015: Austin Youth River Watch, with the support of Impact Austin, has committed to 10 week-long Service Learning Projects throughout the 2014-2015 school year. These hands-on projects focus on enhancing and improving the riparian corridors along local Austin streams and rivers. River Watchers from nine AISD high schools will each participate in a project, learning more about the environmental and recreational benefits to healthy riparian streambanks.
