July 9, 2014: 11 River Watchers participated in a biomonitoring workshop in the Colorado River, collecting benthic macroinvertebrates and fish. They analyzed the water quality using a rubric. The analysis of living organisms and water quality are reliable indicators of the health of aquatic ecosystems. Then River Watchers headed over to the EcoHouse for games and lunch.
