November 7, 2013: Five River Watchers met up with staff from Austin Watershed Protection Department at Buttermilk Creek to finish the ‘seed islands’ which were created for a Grow Zone. The River Watchers were filmed completing each step of the process, which will provide a future teaching tool. The also learned more about the benefits of their work in the riparian zone.
