AYRW is seeking a qualified intern to assist with non-profit development and fundraising tasks including social media engagement, formulation of donation campaigns and virtual event planning. This role is ideal for someone that is interested in the non-profit field and looking to get hands on experience with a local organization. Interns will learn to develop themselves professionally, have networking opportunities, and bring ideas to the table for implementation into fundraising and communications strategies.


  • Create and post engaging, interactive, and on-brand content for key channels, including website, newsletters, and social media (Facebook, Instagram and Twitter)
  • Help develop engaging fundraising campaigns, including thinking creatively about campaign messages and strategies
  • Assist with virtual event planning, including promotion, content, and coordination
  • Other tasks and assignments as needed


  • Current college student with interest in the nonprofit sector
  • Skilled in creating, editing, and promoting written and visual content
  • Knowledge of social media, including an understanding of creative trends and language used on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in non-profit world
  • Resourceful and creative — able to brainstorm and implement new ideas
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized
  • Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Design Software preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish translation preferred
  • Reliable form of transportation preferred (mileage reimbursement available for qualifying tasks)
